When AI Meets Creativity: A Commercial for Fuchs Financial

15 min read

Sometimes constraints spark the best ideas.

When our client Fuchs Financial came to us with a limited budget for a commercial, we turned to an unconventional solution: artificial intelligence.

Instead of cameras, sets, and long shoot days, our team built the entire spot using AI tools. That meant countless prompts, iterations, and late-night brainstorms to get every detail right—from character design and timing to the overall flow of the story.

The process was far from one-click. At one point, our Slack thread looked like a writers’ room-meets-lab experiment:

  • Debating character looks (“let’s slim our guy down but keep him funny”).
  • Planning shot lists before a “prompting spree.”
  • Testing models and debating what would get us to the best version.
  • Stitching everything together into a sequence, troubleshooting speed and flow.

Our biggest challenge?

Character consistency. Not just keeping the characters looking the same from scene to scene, but also making them feel real—with natural proportions, expressions, and presence that would hold up across an entire commercial. In the end, it took seven different AI programs to bring the concept to life. And while it wasn’t perfect out of the gate, the team’s persistence and problem-solving pushed the technology to a place that truly worked for our client.

The final product?

A commercial that looked bigger than its budget, delivered on strategy, and proved that with the right mix of creativity and technology, you can cross the finish line—even with limited resources. Innovation happens best when you’re willing to experiment, adapt, and learn along the way. This project with Fuchs Financial was a reminder that AI isn’t replacing creativity—it’s expanding what’s possible.
