The Challenge

Enshrinement Weekend is the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame’s premier annual celebration, bringing together basketball legends, fans, media and some of the biggest names in the game to welcome a new class into basketball history.

For the Class of 2026, the Hall needed an event identity that could live far beyond a single stage or venue. From the first ticket in a guest’s hand to the massive environmental graphics surrounding the weekend, every touchpoint needed to feel like part of the same celebration. 

And there were a lot of touchpoints.

Beginning in January, GO worked with the Hall to develop the creative theme for Enshrinement 2026 and carry it across an extensive collection of materials, environments and experiences leading up to the big weekend.

The Approach

We started with the Enshrinement theme and built a visual system designed to work at every scale.
That meant creating the Enshrinement program along with tickets, credentials, autograph posters, website landing pages and marketing collateral. But the biggest undertaking was transforming six different venues into one cohesive Enshrinement experience.

Across the Basketball Hall of Fame, Symphony Hall, Mohegan Sun, Marriott, Hilton and Sheraton, our team designed environmental graphics ranging from column wraps and window clings to large-scale wall banners and a two-story stair riser installation.

Design was only one part of the job. GO worked closely with paper manufacturers, sign vendors and specialty printers throughout production, managing materials, specifications and execution to make sure what we envisioned on screen translated into the physical world exactly as intended.

The result was hundreds of individual pieces, large and small, all working together to create one unmistakable Enshrinement Weekend.

The Result

For one of the biggest weekends on the basketball calendar, every detail became part of the experience.

The Class of 2026 includes Joey Crawford, Mark Few, Doc Rivers, Amar’e Stoudemire, the 1996 USA Basketball Women’s National Team, Elena Delle Donne, Chamique Holdsclaw, Candace Parker and Mike D’Antoni.

For GO, the assignment was to create the visual backdrop worthy of that moment, building a consistent experience across venues, formats and materials while letting the newest Hall of Famers remain exactly where they belong: at the center of it all.

One particularly meaningful full-circle moment comes with Elena Delle Donne, who played in the Hall’s Panini Hoophall Classic as a high school athlete and now becomes the first player from the showcase to return to Springfield as a Hall of Famer.
