Today, there are more than 1,100 NCAA lacrosse programs and over 42,000 student-athletes competing across Divisions I, II, and III. The Tewaaraton Awards honor the very best in college lacrosse. Often called “the Heisman of lacrosse,” the Tewaaraton Award has celebrated the sport’s most elite players since 2001, including Lyle Thompson, Charlotte North, and Trevor Baptiste. Our mission: find ways to elevate the ceremony, in partnership with Trigger 7.
So we asked ourselves: Where can we make the biggest impact?
The Answer: Artwork
We refreshed the graphic package to give the show a clean, modern look across all platforms. Distribution Trigger 7 partnered with the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) network to stream the packaged show. That distribution gave us access to a much larger, highly engaged national audience—many of whom are deeply invested in the future of the game. Talent Jeremy Schaap brings a level of professionalism and credibility that few can match. His presence as host grounded the entire production.Storytelling Our interstitials and features were designed to tell the story of the sport through its biggest stars. Stars grow sports. Legends legitimize them. So we brought in the heavyweights: Paul and Gary Gait. Paul and Mike Rabil. Their presence underscored the cultural weight of the event and the moment. Cool Factor.
When the visuals are sharp, the music hits right, and the experience looks like something people want to be part of, it works.⸻You don’t need a huge budget or endless time to make something feel elevated. Just the right partners and a bit of vision. We are already thinking about how to make Tewaaraton 2026 even better.
Stay tuned.
