The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame is the sport's most prestigious institution — a destination that celebrates the greatest players, coaches, and contributors the game has ever seen. It's a place where history lives, where legends are immortalized, and where fans from around the world come to connect with the sport they love.
The Basketball Hall of Fame is also our longest active client. We've had the privilege of supporting them for over 20 years, and that kind of relationship runs deep. We don't just know their brand — we've helped shape it. So when they came to us ready for their next chapter, we understood the weight of the moment and exactly what it would take to get it right.

Their vision for the organization had meaningfully shifted since the last redesign. New exhibits. A refreshed sense of purpose. A desire to bring more energy into the museum experience — and to better unite the full ecosystem of Hall of Fame events and tournaments under one cohesive brand. The digital and brand presence needed to catch up, and reflect not just who the Hall of Fame has always been, but who it's becoming.

After two decades together, we know what makes the Hall of Fame tick — its legacy, its community, and the reverence fans feel the moment they walk through the doors. We used that foundation to push the brand and the website into exciting new territory.
This wasn't a light polish. We refreshed the Hall of Fame's visual identity to inject more energy and excitement into the brand — the kind that matches the electricity of the sport itself. Central to that work was the evolution of their tagline. "Where the Game Never Ends" was a strong foundation, but the new tagline — Greatness Lives Inside™ — says something bigger. It speaks to the legends enshrined within those walls, the feeling fans get when they step inside, and the enduring power of the game. It's a line that earns its trademark.
The visual refresh extends across every touchpoint, from the website to the museum experience itself. Bold typography, dynamic imagery, and a design system built around energy and prestige work together to signal that something new is happening — while honoring everything that makes the Hall of Fame iconic. Critically, that design system was built to scale — creating a unified visual language that connects the Hall of Fame's tournaments and external events back to the mothership brand in a way that feels intentional and cohesive.
We reimagined the site's architecture to reflect the organization's evolved priorities, creating clear, intuitive pathways for every type of visitor — whether they're planning a trip, researching an inductee, or supporting the Hall through a donation. A smarter structure means users spend less time searching and more time engaging with what matters most.
The Hall of Fame is more than a museum — it hosts tournaments, events, and experiences that extend the brand well beyond Springfield. One of our key goals was making sure that connection was felt within the website. We built out dedicated space and clearer pathways for tournaments and external events, tying them visually and structurally back to the Hall of Fame brand. Whether a fan encounters the brand at a tournament or on the website, the experience now feels like one unified world.
One of the most exciting parts of this project was building a digital home that felt like walking into the Hall of Fame. We designed an immersive, visually rich experience that gives fans a taste of what awaits them on the floor — and gives the Hall a powerful tool for driving in-person visits. New exhibits deserve the spotlight, and the new site delivers exactly that.
Basketball fans are always on the move, and the new site is built to keep up. Whether someone is browsing inductee history, exploring exhibit previews, or purchasing tickets from their phone, the experience is fully optimized across every screen — fast, clean, and effortless no matter the device.
The new Basketball Hall of Fame brand and website isn't just a redesign — it's a realignment. By anchoring every decision to where the organization is headed, the updated platform and identity give the Hall of Fame a presence that reflects its current mission, energizes the museum experience, puts its newest exhibits front and center, and for the first time, brings its tournaments and external events into a cohesive brand ecosystem.
