Position Overview:
We’re hiring an Interim Project Manager to support our team during a planned maternity leave. This is a temporary contract role (December through March) with the potential to convert into a full-time position on our Client Services team if there’s a mutual fit.
This person will help cover a set of critical day-to-day project management tasks—keeping projects moving, assets organized, and communications flowing—while also providing some relief to other team members during a busy season.
The ideal candidate will be someone who ramps up quickly, takes initiative, and their favorite phrase is “on it”.
Timing:
● Ideal Start: Early December (for a 3–4 week overlap)
● Coverage Period: December–March
Key Responsibilities:
We’ll tailor the final workload based on internal prioritization and candidate strengths, but core areas may include:
● Creative asset routing, proofing, and approvals with clients and internal teams
● Meeting logistics: joining key client and internal meetings, taking notes, and keeping things moving
● File and system organization: keeping assets up-to-date in SharePoint and project management tools
● Timeline management: light support in keeping deliverables on track
● Documentation: maintaining trackers, task boards, and status updates
● Communications: clear, proactive updates with teammates and occasionally with clients
Traits We’re Looking For:
● Self-starter who ramps up quickly on new workflows and systems
● Strong sense of ownership and follow-through
● Detail-obsessed and highly organized
● Able to prioritize under pressure without needing heavy supervision
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Friendly, collaborative team player
Preferred Background:
● Experience in a marketing, communications, or creative environment is preferred
● Familiarity with tools like Monday.com, Dropbox, Outlook, or Slack is a bonus
● Project coordination, operations, or account support experience is a plus
● Open to a range of experience levels—you could be earlier in your career or more seasoned
What We Offer:
● Interim contract (approx. 3–4 months)
● Clear path to full-time conversion based on performance and team fit.
● Hybrid environment based in Hartford, CT
● Opportunity to work with a supportive, collaborative, and fun team
